Occhio di Deva

Occhio di Deva is a cyberpunk short movie made in 2020. The short draws heavy inspiration from sci-fi media. In particular I would like to mention Blame! by Tsutomu Nihei, Blade Runner by Ridley Scott and the Dune by Frank Herbert as important inspirations for Occhio di Deva.
During the short we follow the errands of “X”, the protagonist, a monk on a sacred mission to find the “Eye of Deva”, a powerful artefact meant to end the energy crisis of his community.
The story is located in the “Megalopoly”, a never ending city, memorial of a past civilisation.
